So we’re back from Beemerland and have thankfully stopped sneezing. Unfortunately the diet went out of the window, bounced off the ground and shattered into a million zillion pieces as Sim was escorted into a vineyard and it’s tasting room, complete with pork lard on a stick! Ho hum - will just have to postponed the weigh in until next month - the doc need never know!!!

So Girlpants worked and I shopped! Have never done so much walking in one weekend as the last, whilst taking numerious pictures of decorated lions around the city, including one by a dentists office...

Betwix photos, I even managed to invest in a luggage trolley so we could bring back more alcohol :o) However, the trek around Heidelberg, Speyer Cathedral (where the cats like to go...) and and old Roman fort in the middle of the Rhine calley where apparently Richard the Lionheart was held captive. The latter two had been resotred to the point that they looked sparkly brand new and made yesterday with a bit of spit and polish. 500 metres above sea level - you would have thought that they would have installed a lift of some sort...

The complaints of the slightly rotund... :( Ahh well! Diet starts tomorrow, so that saying goes!
